While I was taking macro pictures for flower stamens, a hover fly filed over and stopped at the exact focusing point. After several clicks, it flied away. Sometimes you just need a bit of luck!
Camera specs: Canon 7D fitted with EF100mm f/2.8 IS lens, f/5.6 @ 1/640 second, ISO 800.
