The Nature of Trees

Juried exhibition THE NATURE OF TREES at PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont, U.S., Oct.11 - Nov. 5, 2011. 

A heavy fog blanketed Ottawa valley in the morning of November 6, 2008.  It made a good opportunity to shoot some nature photography.  I headed out to the Britannia Park and took some dramatic images of trees with the foggy backdrop. 

Camera specs: Canon 40D fitted with EF35mm f/1.4L lens,  f/8 @ 1/200 second, ISO 400.

Toronto Skyline

On September 5, 2011 - Labour Day Long Weekend, I stopped by the Humber Bay on my way to Ottawa during sunset time and spent about 2 hours there. The sky was overcast and the clouds were hovering over the city. As it was getting dark, overcast clouds started to reflect lights back down and glow with pinkish color. I captured several pictures of the dazzling night skyline of Toronto with small apertures which gave me the multi-point star effect.
